ChoiceOne Bank Announces Promotions Lysh Curnett & Kimberly Jolin

ChoiceOne Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of Lysh Curnett to the Mortgage Loan Officer and Kimberly (Kim) Jolin to Armada Branch Manager.

These two women continue to live our Mission to provide superior service, quality advice and show utmost respect to everyone we meet. They will play a significant role in our continued growth in West and East Michigan.”

Lysh Curnett, Mortgage Loan Officer (West Market)

Lysh has 24 years of banking experience advancing into positions that included marketing personal loans and mortgages. She joined ChoiceOne Bank in 2014 as the Assistant Branch Manager of ChoiceOne’s Newaygo Branch Office and was quickly promoted to the Newaygo Branch Manager six months later. In her new position, Curnett will work out of the Fremont and Newaygo Branch Offices originating mortgage loans for clients helping them purchase and refinance their homes.

With a banking career that started in 1998, Curnett held various positions with a regional bank in West Michigan starting as a Teller and progressing into Banker, Assistant Manager, and Investment Representative. During her time as an Investment Representative, she held her Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses. She is a graduate of the Michigan Bankers Association Perry School of Banking.

A native of Newaygo and a graduate of Newaygo High School, Curnett raised her family in Fremont and Newaygo. Invested in her communities, Curnett is a volunteer for True North helping throughout the year with kids’ school supplies, Christmas gifts, food truck assistance, as well as Credit Counseling services. She is also a Junior Achievement teacher for the Fremont and Newaygo schools, and a Fremont Public Schools volunteer for ticket sales at sporting events. With four grown children, Curnett currently resides in Fremont.

Kimberly (Kim) Jolin, Armada Branch Manager (East Market)

Kim joined ChoiceOne Bank nine years ago as a Teller and progressed into a Universal Banker. In 2020, she was promoted to Armada Assistant Branch Manager. In her new position she will oversee the day-to-day functions of the Branch Office as well as lead the team to continued success offering personal and business financial services.

A native of Imlay City, and a graduate of Imlay City High school, Jolin is highly connected to her communities where involvement is fundamental. She is a volunteer at many festivals, social events, and parades. Jolin and her husband reside in Imlay city with their daughter.
